Due to some personal matters that have popped up in the past 10 days we haven't been able to keep up on the blog. We'll be down for the count throughout the weekend but plan to be back by the middle of next week...
Since you seem to be offended, we'll change the slogan.
Easy enough.
By the way, "No more dumbing down" is said tongue-in-cheek.
This is sports. We all have an opinion. That includes you, me, the columnists, sports talk show hosts, TV anchors and fans.
We all have opinions on our beloved sports teams. Some tend to criticize more than others. I prefer to look back at what takes place and figure out WHY, as well as look forward to what I believe will take place and WHY I believe it. I'm not into Monday morning quarterbacking - anyone can do that and many already do.
Beyond this, I don't claim to be an expert. I claim to do my research and put thought into my opinions. Sometimes I'm right on. Other times I'm way off. Either way, its sports, banter, and debate. Its supposed to be fun - not hostile.
Joe Lull is a sports reporter who covers the locker rooms at all Cleveland Indians, Cavaliers and Browns games.
He works primarily as a reporter for Metro Networks, while also doing work for AM 930 WEOL in Elyria and occasional reports for AM 850 WKNR in Cleveland.
He also does sports for Comcast channel 99 in Youngstown.
